Manchester United vs Chelsea: Premier League TV, live streaming

The Blues are aiming to avert a crisis after two disastrous defeats in the league with a win over Alan Pardew's struggling side.

Chelsea's underwhelming form since the turn has finally turned for the better.

After two comfortable wins against weak opposition, they put in an impressive performance against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge, with the 1-1 draw going some way to stave off talk of crisis.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, who they meet on Sunday, are just three points ahead of them in the table and are part of the battle for Champions League places in the Premier League.

Managers Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte have had plenty to say about each other in recent months and now have the opportunity to go head to head.

Chelsea could end the weekend outside the Premier League's top four should they fail to beat Manchester United on Sunday.

Just two league wins in 2018 has seen the reigning champions go from looking like near-certainties for Champions League qualification to firmly in a battle for a place at Europe's top table.

Alvaro Morata scored the only goal as United were beaten at Stamford Bridge in November, and anything less than three points could see the Blues leapfrogged by a Tottenham facing Crystal Palace at midday.

Jose Mourinho, with the help of Ander Herrera, masterminded a 2-0 win in the same fixture last season and will know another win over his former club, and nemesis from earlier this term, is huge for their end-of-season ambitions.

Team news

Manchester United
Ander Herrera is out of Manchester United's Premier League clash against Chelsea and the next few weeks.

The Spain midfielder's attempted backheel at Sevilla in the Champions League aggravated a muscular injury, meaning Paul Pogba could return to the starting line-up.

Marouane Fellaini, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones remain absent, while Eric Bailly is in line to make his first United start since November.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, Pereira, Valencia, Darmian, Shaw, Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Bailly, Matic, Carrick, Pogba, McTominay, Gomes, Mata, Lingard, Sanchez, Rashford, Martial, Lukaku.

Chelsea will continue to be without injured trio David Luiz, Ross Barkley and Tiemoue Bakayoko on Sunday.

Defender Luiz is out with an ankle issue, while Barkley has a hamstring problem and fellow midfielder Bakayoko has an unspecified knock.

Strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are pushing for starts after Blues manager Antonio Conte opted to play Eden Hazard as a false nine in the midweek Champions League draw with Barcelona.

Provisional squad: Courtois, Caballero, Eduardo, Cahill, Christensen, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Moses, Zappacosta, Palmieri, Ampadu, Fabregas, Drinkwater, Kante, Hudson-Odoi, Sterling, Hazard, Pedro, Willian, Giroud, Morata.

Predicted line-ups
Manchester United starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Young; Pogba, Matic; Martial, Lingard, Alexis; Lukaku

Chelsea starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill; Moses, Fabregas, Kante, Alonso; Willian, Giroud, Hazard
