Chelsea vs Bournemouth: Premier League TV, live streaming

The Blues are aiming to build further momentum on Wednesday as they take on Eddie Howe's side at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea face Bournemouth on Wednesday looking to build on their FA Cup win over Newcastle and close the gap on the two Manchester clubs in front of them.

Antonio Conte's side defeated Newcastle 3-0 on Sunday, with Michy Batshuayi, who is likely to leave the club before the January transfer window closes, scoring two goals.

With Alvaro Morata an injury doubt and Batshuayi likely to be in the process of a move on deadline day, Eden Hazard may be utilised in attack as the Blues aim to move ahead of United in the table, if results go their way.

Chelsea welcome Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night as the Premier League champions resume their chase of Manchester rivals City and United.

Having been knocked out of the EFL Cup semi-finals by Arsenal, Chelsea recovered with a strong 3-0 victory over Newcastle in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Chelsea's title defence may already effectively be over given Man City's dominance, but the Blues must remain focussed in order to push United for second and avoid the rest of the Champions League hopefuls from sneaking up on them.

?Antonio Conte has confirmed Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata could return from injury to face Bournemouth, Vaishali Bhardwaj reports.

The striker missed Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round win over Newcastle and the Blues' defeat to Arsenal in the EFL Cup semi-final second leg four days earlier due to a back injury.

Morata has struggled in front of goal of late but, despite the fine form of Michy Batshuayi who scored twice against Newcastle, is likely to slot straight back into Conte's starting line-up when fit.

That could be next Wednesday at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea host Bournemouth in the Premier League, with Conte telling reporters: "Morata probably [will return for the game].

Should Morata not recover from his back injury in time, Conte could choose to stick with Batshuayi up front - should the Belgian choose not to leave on loan - or have Eden Hazard play as a false No.9.

Jermain Defoe is out with an ankle injury, while Tyrone Mings is also likely to be unavailable to Eddie Howe.

Bournemouth's only other concern is Harry Arter, who has been missing with illness.
