Liverpool welcome Chelsea to Anfield this weekend boasting an impressive recent record against the Premier League champions.

The Blues have not beaten Jurgen Klopp's men in the League for over three years when goals from Diego Costa and Gary Cahill sealed all three points.

Another win for the Reds this weekend will send them above their fellow title contenders, while a loss could all but end any hopes with Manchester City setting the pace at the top.

Chelsea head into Saturday's clash off the back of securing Champions League progress with a 4-0 win over Qarabag in Baku, while Liverpool let a three-goal lead slip to draw 3-3 with Sevilla in Spain.

Start time

Liverpool host Chelsea at Anfield with kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm on Saturday, November 25.

TV and live online coverage

The match will be televised live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting from 5pm. BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Alternatively, you can follow all the build-up and action from 4.30pm with New Gersy blog.

Team news

Joel Matip is a doubt for the hosts with a thigh strain, though Adam Lallana should be fit as he battles a similar problem.

Nathaniel Clyne remains out with a long-term back problem.

Midfielder Can has a muscular injury that could see him miss out, but Lallana might make his first appearance of the season.

"Adam is on the way. We have to see how we handle that," said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool have won four of their last five games in all competitions, with the only setback coming on Tuesday when they blew a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 at Sevilla in the Champions League.

Chelsea eased to a 4-0 Champions League win over Qarabag on Wednesday as they secured their sixth win in their last seven matches.

Antonio Conte's side start the weekend nine points behind Premier League leaders Manchester Cit

Wing-back Victor Moses is available following a six-week absence when Chelsea play at Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Moses has been out with a hamstring injury since the October 14 loss at Crystal Palace and is expected to begin as a substitute against another of his former clubs, having spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Anfield.

Alvaro Morata and Andreas Christensen are expected to return in place of Willian and David Luiz as boss Antonio Conte rotates his options, with striker Michy Batshuayi (ankle), forward Charly Musonda (knee) and the left-sided Kenedy (undisclosed) out.

Predicted line-ups

Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet; Milner, Lovren, Klavan, Moreno; Wijnaldum, Henderson, Coutinho; Salah, Firmino, Mane

Chelsea starting XI: Courtios; Christensen, Luiz, Cahill; Azpilicueta, Fabregas, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso; Hazard, Morata
