Arsenal will look to strengthen their near-perfect home Premier League record against West Brom when the teams meet on Monday Night Football.

Arsenal have won each of last six Premier League home meetings against West Brom - scoring 13 goals and conceding just one.

Going further back, Arsenal have won seven of the last eight meetings at the Emirates Stadium either side of a 3-2 defeat in 2010 when Peter Odemwingie, Gonzalo Jara and Jerome Thomas scored for Roberto Di Matteo's visitors.

Arsenal are in the midst of their worst start to a Premier League season since 2011, but made a step in right direction with a solid 0-0 draw with Chelsea last weekend.

Meanwhile, West Brom began the weekend 10th in the Premier League - one point ahead of Arsenal - losing just one of their five games. In taking charge of this visit, Tony Pulis will become the first West Brom manager to reach 100 Premier League games in charge of the club.

Start time

Arsenal host West Brom at the Emirates Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 8pm on Monday, September 25.

TV and live online coverage

The match will be televised live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage starting from 7pm. Alternatively, you can follow all the build-up and action from 7pm with NEW GERSY blog.

Team news

Arsenal

Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are both in contention to start after missing the start of last week’s 0-0 draw at Chelsea.

Ozil has returned to training after his knee became inflamed whilst Sanchez, who came off the bench at Stamford Bridge, gained further match fitness in Wednesday’s 1-0 EFL Cup third round win over Doncaster.

Both are in line to replace Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck in the side, the latter ruled out until after October’s international break with a groin strain.

Francis Coquelin and Calum Chambers will also be absent until at least the visit to Watford on October 14. Jack Wilshere came through 90 minutes against Doncaster but is unlikely to be ready for the step up to Premier League action.

West Brom

West Brom midfielder Gareth Barry is expected to break the Premier League appearance record against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 36-year-old, who made his professional debut for Aston Villa in 1998, will play in his 633rd top-flight game and break Ryan Giggs' record if he features on Monday night.

Chris Brunt (calf) will be assessed along with Nacer Chadli (thigh) and Oliver Burke (hamstring) while it remains to be seen if Jake Livermore will return to the squad after being given a break by Baggies boss Tony Pulis.

Pulis has a number of doubts in his midfield, with Nacer Chadli (knock) and Oliver Burke (hamstring) among those who will require fitness tests. Former Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs is likely to start at left-back but Jake Livermore is a doubt after the Albion manager gave him time off.

Predicted line-ups

Arsenal starting XI: Cech; Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal; Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez; Lacazette

West Brom starting XI: Foster; Dawson, Hegazi, Evans, Gibbs; Krychowiak, Barry; Brunt, Morrison, Phillips; Rodriguez
