Wolves are looking to go three Premier League games unbeaten in a row as they host a struggling Burnley side at Molineux on Sunday.

Nuno Esperito Santo's newly-promoted side took one point from their opening two matches back in the top flight, but a draw against champions Manchester City followed by a win at West Ham leaves Wolves in 11th place in the table.

In contrast, Sean Dyche's Burnley have struggled to make a positive start to the new campaign after an unsuccessful bid for Europa League football, with the Clarets taking just one point so far.

The two sides have met twice in the Premier League, with Wolves winning both games (2-0 at home and 2-1 away) during the 2009-10 season.

- Wolves vs Burnley-

Wolves appear to be growing into Premier League life with each match they play. Snatching a 1-0 victory at West Ham signified improvement from almost losing to 10-man Everton on the opening day.

A side packed with international talent and gathering steam should beat slow-starting Burnley.

But with the fruitless Europa League campaign in the rear-view mirror Sean Dyche’s squad, who already played 10 matches compared to Wolves’ five, will be somewhat refreshed now and in the mood to get their campaign back on track. Graham Searles

Start Time

Team News

Wolves could be without Raul Jimenez on Sunday.

The forward, who scored on the opening day of the season against Everton, sustained a muscle injury while away on international duty with Mexico.

Portuguese winger Ivan Cavaleiro is yet to play this campaign due to a back problem and he will remain out.

Provisional Wolves squad: Patricio, Ruddy, Norris, Doherty, Dendoncker, Bennett, Batth, Enobakhare, Hause, Boly, Coady, Gibbs-White, Jota, Otto, Saiss, Neves, Costa, Moutinho, Vinagre, Bonatini, Traore, Jimenez.

Burnley have Johan Berg Gudmundsson back available, but Ben Gibson will sit out.

Winger Gudmundsson has recovered after missing the 2-0 home loss to Manchester United last time out due to a hamstring problem. Gibson, who was also not a part of the squad for that game, is to see a specialist about his groin issue.

Fellow defender Stephen Ward is fit again after a foot injury saw him miss the Republic of Ireland's match against Poland on Tuesday.

Provisional Burnley squad: Hart, Heaton, Lowton, Taylor, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward, Bardsley, Long, Cork, Gudmundsson, Hendrick, Westwood, Lennon, McNeil, Vokes, Barnes, Wood, Vydra.
