The line-up for Saturday's match is expected to be similar to the one seen at Tuesday's friendly against Tranmere, including new signings Fabinho and Keita.

Loris Karius' involvement will be scrutinized - again - while fans will be equally keen to see whether Rafa Camacho, Sheyi Ojo and Adam Lallana can build on Tuesday's impressive performances at Prenton Park.

After Bury, the Reds have one more pre-season friendly next week against Blackburn Rovers, before jetting off to the USA for the International Champions Cup.

This will involve them playing three matches across the country before they head back to the UK to finish their pre-season with matches against Napoli and Torino.

Liverpool's first Premier League match will take place at Anfield on Sunday, August 12 at 4pm, against West Ham.
