Chelsea vs Inter Milan | International Champions Cup | 6:05pm Wednesday 1st August | Ullevi Stadium

CHELSEA have discovered their opponents for this summer’s International Champions Cup.

The Blues, who will participate in the pre-season tournament for the fifth time, will play matches in both Sweden and Poland ahead of kicking-off the new campaign.

Chelsea will begin the showpiece against Spanish side Sevilla, who reached the quarter-finals of this season’s Champions League, at the National Stadium in Warsaw on Saturday 28 July.

They then take on Inter for the second successive pre-season when they meet the Serie A outfit at Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium on Wednesday 1 August.

Their final fixture will also be against familiar opposition – but it is dependent on whether Antonio Conte’s side can go on to win this season’s FA Cup.

They are pencilled in to go one-on-one with London and Premier League rivals Arsenal.

However, that tie will be scrapped subject to Chelsea’s potential involvement in the Community Shield on Saturday 4 August.

Each club will play three matches in this year’s ICC, which has sections taking place across the globe, and the side with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned winners.

Chelsea will also be travelling elsewhere during their preparations for next season.

The will play a game in Perth, Australia on Monday 23 July.
