The Blues will be aiming for a confidence-boosting victory - and revenge - when they meet Sean Dyche's men on Thursday

Chelsea make the journey to Turf Moor on Thursday as they take on Burnley in the Premier League.

The Blues' chances of securing a top-four finish are fading fast, but Antonio Conte will be desperate to end the season on a high note by putting together some positive results in the remaining five league games.

The Italian also has an FA Cup semi-final clash against Southampton to look forward to three days later and a win away to one of the division's meanest defenses will serve as a major boost.

Burnley vs Chelsea | Premier League | Thursday, 7.45pm BST

Chelsea are on the road again on Thursday night as Antonio Conte's newly-deposed Premier League champions travel to high-flying Burnley.
Burnley vs Chelsea

Sunday saw Chelsea officially relinquish their Premier League title as Manchester United's loss to West Brom meant Manchester City were crowned 2017-18 champions.

While the Blues may be feeling sorry for themselves, a thrilling 3-2 comeback win at Southampton - coupled with Tottenham's home loss to Man City - have given the west London club renewed hope of Champions League qualification.

But with Sean Dyche's Burnley having won their last five League games to sit just eight points behind Chelsea, Conte will be acutely aware of just how tough a game this could be.

Team news
Chelsea will be sweating on whether Marcos Alonso will be retrospectively charged by the FA, with the Chelsea defender facing the prospect of a three-game ban if charged and found guilty of violent conduct for his tackle on Southampton striker Shane Long.

Olivier Giroud's heroics off the bench at St Mary's mean the Frenchman is almost certain to start over Alvaro Morata up front.

David Luiz and Danny Drinkwater remain out for the champions.

Burnley will be missing Scott Arfield, Steven Defour, Ben Mee and Robbie Brady, while Georges-Kevin N'Koudou and Jon Walters both have slim chances of making the cut.

Predicted line-ups
Burnley starting XI: Pope, Lowton, Long, Tarkowski, Ward, Lennon, Cork, Westwood, Berg Gudmundsson, Vokes, Wood

Chelsea starting XI: Courtois; Cahill, Christensen, Rudiger; Moses, Fabregas, Kante, Azpilicueta; Willian, Hazard, Giroud
