A 2-1 win at Old Trafford saw Manchester United knocked out and Los Rojiblancos reach the quarter-finals for the first time in 60 years and now face another experienced European giant.

The hosts will have to do without Ever Banega, a standout performer against United, for the first leg but Bayern have been eliminated by Spanish opposition in each of the previous five seasons.

David Alaba will be back from leave but the game will come too soon for the returning Kingsley Coman and Manuel Neuer.

Team News

Following their 0-0 draw at home with United in the first leg of their last-16 meeting, it was assumed by plenty that the Red Devils would do enough to get through at Old Trafford.

Sevilla weren't daunted by the challenge. They produced an excellent display away from home, with two goals from forward Wissam Ben Yedder effectively ending the tie and putting the La Liga side into the last eight.

As noted by the tournament's official Twitter account, the France international forward has been prolific in the Champions League this season:

He's the undoubted danger man for Bayern to look out for on Tuesday, but a number of Sevilla players will need to be at their best if they're going to make it into the last four.

After all, going to Old Trafford and winning when the tie was level is one thing. If the same situation presents itself here, going to the Allianz Arena needing a positive result would represent a much more daunting task, as Bayern are one of the favourites to win this competition.
