Everton 0-0 Liverpool: Premier League TV channel, live streaming online, start time

A Merseyside derby is in store as Jurgen Klopp's men look to carry on their impressive form from the Champions League .

Liverpool head to Goodison Park on Saturday to face local rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby.
.

Jurgen Klopp's side come into the game on the crest of a wave having demolished Manchester City 3-0 in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

A win over Everton will send the Reds into second place - temporarily at least - ahead of Manchester United, who play later that day.

The hosts, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from the demoralising defeat they suffered against Man City last week as they attempt to secure a top-half Premier League finish.

Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park on Saturday looking to end their longest winless run against their arch rivals in the Merseyside derby.
.

Not since a 2-0 win in October 2010 have the Toffees claimed local bragging rights, enduring 16 games without triumph since which tops their previous worst of 15 without a win between 1972 and 1978.

This season was supposed to be a new dawn for Everton with heavy investment, but it has not worked out as such with the club not venturing above ninth. Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to better last season's fourth-placed finish.

Liverpool will have one eye - or perhaps more -- on their Champions League quarter-final with Manchester City despite holding a 3-0 advantage but will also be aware that any slip up could see Tottenham leapfrog them in the Premier League table.

Team news

Everton
Idrissa Gana Gueye should be fit to return to the Everton side for Saturday's Merseyside derby against Liverpool.

The influential midfielder missed last weekend's defeat by Manchester City with a hamstring problem but took part in a full training session on Friday.

All Everton's other injury problems are longer-term but defender Ashley Williams is available again after completing a three-match ban following his dismissal against Burnley.

Provisional squad: Pickford, Robles, Coleman, Kenny, Martina, Jagielka, Keane, Williams, Baines, Holgate, Funes Mori, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Baningime, Klaassen, Rooney, Walcott, Davies, Bolasie, Tosun, Calvert-Lewin, Niasse.

Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a raft of injuries to contend with ahead of the 231st Merseyside derby.

Forward Mohamed Salah is unlikely to be risked after sustaining a groin injury against Manchester City in midweek while midfielders Emre Can (back), Adam Lallana (hamstring) and Ben Woodburn are all out.

Of his injured defenders, Ragnar Klavan, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez, only Klavan has any chance of making the squad.

Provisional squad: Karius, Clyne, Lovren, Van Dijk, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Milner, Ings, Solanke, Mane, Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Masterson, Klavan, Robertson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Firmino.

Predicted line-ups
Everton starting XI: Pickford; Coleman, Jagielka, Keane, Baines; Davies, Rooney; Walcott, Calvert-Lewin, Bolasie; Tosun

Liverpool starting XI: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Henderson, Milner; Salah, Firmino, Mane
