Arsene Wenger bids farewell to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as Arsenal play their final home game of his 22-year tenure when Burnley visit.

Arsenal will continue their quest for Europa League glory against Atletico Madrid, with the first leg of their semi-final encounter set to take place at Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

The Gunners are looking to continental competition to provide them with major silverware, a route into the Champions League and a fitting send-off for Arsene Wenger.

The long-serving manager has announced that he is to step down at the end of the season, after 22 years at the helm, and he will be determined to go with one more trophy under his belt.

The Gunners have the Europa League as their last hope of ending the Frenchman's tenure on a high as the club will almost certainly finish their Premier League campaign in sixth, the lowest finish ever under Wenger.

Burnley, meanwhile, have enjoyed their best season since 1973-74 when they finished sixth in the old First Divison, with Sean Dyche a credible contender for Manger of the Year.

The news may well galvanize the Gunners ahead of a tough tie against Atletico, but Diego Simeone's side will be in no mood to let Wenger bow out on a high as the Spanish side seek European redemption after two Champions League final defeats against rivals Real in the last four seasons.

Arsenal's domestic focus may be looking down rather than up the table - with Burnley sitting just two points behind the Gunners in the race for sixth spot - but a few players will be desperate to impress with a glamour Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid fast approaching.

Atletico Madrid
James Collins could return for the Hammers, but Michail Antonio, Pedro Obiang, Winston Reid and Sam Byram are all out.

David Moyes is expected to have the same panel as he had for the Hammers' last game against Stoke City, which means that Andy Carroll and Manuel Lanzini are in contention to start, though they are not deemed likely to feature for 90 minutes.

James Collins is not going to be available for the match, nor is Pedro Obiang, but Moyes said that the latter is making positive progress. Michail Antonio, Sam Byram and Winston Reid are all out.
