Southampton vs Liverpool: Premier League TV and online live streaming

Everything you need to know ahead of the Premier League clash at St Mary's on Sunday

Liverpool travel to Southampton with the intention of recording a first league double over their opponents since 2014-15.

It will be the ninth occasion that Jurgen Klopp will pit his wits against the Saints; a side he has only previously beaten twice.

Virgil van Dijk, meanwhile, returns to St Mary's for the first time since his £75 million switch to Liverpool.

The centre-back can expect a hostile reception, but he won't be alone in that regard given the Reds' penchant for purchasing from the south-coast club.

Liverpool head to Southampton today knowing anything less than a win will hit their Premier League top four hopes.

Jurgen Klopp's side sit fourth as they head to St Mary's, with Tottenham's 1-0 north London derby win over Arsenal sending Mauricio Pochettino's men third in the table - and fifth-placed Chelsea are just a point behind Liverpool.

However, Mauricio Pellegrini's Saints are in need of points at the opposite end of the table, and have a point to prove having effectively become Liverpool's feeder club on transfers in recent years - with £75million Virgil van Dijk the latest player to tread the well-worn path from St Mary's to Anfield.
