Porto vs Liverpool: Champions League TV, live streaming

Jurgen Klopp's side are away from home in the first leg of their knock-out stage encounter with the Portuguese giants

Liverpool make the trip to Portugal for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Porto on Valentine's Day.

Having been ejected from the FA Cup last month and being that they are unlikely to win the Premier League, the tournament is the Reds' only realistic hope of winning silverware this season.

While they may be considered outside bets for the title, Jurgen Klopp's men boast a forward line that bagged 23 goals in the group stage — second only to Paris Saint-Germain — and they are not to be trifled with.

Liverpool return to Champions League action this week looking to take a leap towards the quarter-final stage with a trip to Porto.

The Reds scored 23 goals in six games to top Group E but will be wary of the two second-half collapses against Sevilla as they enter the knockout stages.

Not since 2009 have Liverpool made the last eight and will be buoyed with their unbeaten record against Porto after four games, two wins and two draws.

Jurgen Klopp will have to compete in Portugal without the suspended Emre Can, while Porto are missed Felipe.
