With the Premier League now out of reach, Chelsea's hopes for silverware rest on FA Cup or Champions League success, with the quest for the latter continuing on Tuesday evening.

The Blues face perhaps their sternest test of the season as they welcome Barcelona to Stamford Bridge in the knowledge that the Catalan giants have been beaten only once this season, a 1-0 defeat to Espanyol in the Copa del Rey.

Antonio Conte's side responded to back-to-back defeats to Bournemouth and Watford by beating West Brom and Hull last week, but the Blaugrana represent a whole new level of difficulty for the Premier League side.

Chelsea face a huge test of their Champions League ambitions as they take on Barcelona in the last-16 of the competition.

Barcelona's fierce rivals Real Madrid may have dominated the Champions League with three triumphs in the last four years, but Ernesto Valverde's side are flying high at the top of La Liga and, of course, have the magic of Lionel Messi.

It has been a tough Premier League title defence for Antonio Conte's Blues as Manchester City run away at the top of the table, but a positive result against Barca at Stamford Bridge could be the springboard Chelsea need to end their season on a high.
