Liverpool vs Everton: FA Cup prediction, TV, live streaming The Merseyside Derby

The Merseyside rivals face off at Anfield with a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup - as well as local bragging rights - at stake

For the second time in less than month the two giants of Merseyside football face off, this time in the third round of the FA Cup.

Everton picked up a 1-1 draw when they travelled to Anfeld back in December as the Toffees frustrated Liverpool for long periods before Wayne Rooney's equaliser from the penalty spot.

Since then, though, the Reds have won four of their six matches, though injuries to key players could be vital to whether they can progress to the next stage

FA Cup third round weekend begins with a bang on Friday evening as Liverpool and Everton meet in the 230th Merseyside derby.

As the future of Philippe Coutinho continues to circle Anfield, Jurgen Klopp could hand a debut to club-record signing Virgil van Dijk

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will be landing back on Merseyside on the day of the game after attending the Confederation of African Football awards.

Everton, meanwhile, are winless in four as Sam Allardyce's new manager bounce appears to have expired as the club look to avoid a third third-round exit in four years.
