Brighton vs Chelsea: Premier League TV, live streaming

The Blues travel to the relegation-threatened club as they aim to turn around a mediocre run of form that has seen them struggle to score goals

Chelsea are in the midst of a run of three consecutive scoreless games for the first time in their history but they are hoping to put that behind them as they battle for a top-four place in the Premier League.

The champions are 15 points behind leaders Manchester City and have slipped down into fourth place with little chance of retaining their crown.

Brighton, who the Blues tackle on Saturday, are just three points above the relegation zone as they have shown inconsistency in the busy winter period.

Chelsea are looking to end their goal drought as the Premier League champions head to Brighton on Saturday.

Antonio Conte's Blues are without a win in the last four games, and have not scored in their last three outings.

The title holders will fancy their chances against Brighton in Saturday's early kick-off, but Chris Hughton's Seagulls have a reasonably solid defence this term and will be confident of troubling their visitors.

Team news

Steve Sidwell remains Brighton's only injury absentee for the visit of his former club Chelsea.

The midfielder underwent a back operation in September and still faces another few months on the sidelines. Chris Hughton otherwise has a fully-fit squad as the Seagulls go in search of a first Premier League win in 2018.

Provisional squad: Ryan, Krul, Bong, Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Hunemeier, Rosenior, Goldson, Schelotto, Suttner, Kayal, Propper, Skalak, Knockaert, Stephens, March, Izquierdo, Gross, Murray, Hemed, Baldock.

Pedro and Alvaro Morata are suspended following their dismissals against Norwich.

Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas (both hamstring) are again out with Antonio Conte expected to make changes after giving many fringe players an opportunity in Wednesday's FA Cup win, which went to extra-time and penalties.

Ross Barkley is in the squad and could make his debut off the substitutes' bench, while the Blues have a number of undisclosed doubts.

Provisional squad: Courtois, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Drinkwater, Kante, Barkley, Hazard, Bakayoko, Moses, Kenedy, Musonda, Zappacosta, Willian, Batshuayi, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Clarke-Salter, Sterling, Eduardo, Ampadu, Hudson-Odoi.

Predicted line-ups
Brighton starting XI: Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Knockaert, Stephens, Propper, Izquierdo; Gross, Murray

Chelsea starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Luiz; Moses, Kante, Drinkwater, Alonso; Hazard, Batshuayi, Willian
