Tottenham vs Brighton: Premier League

Tottenham could return to the top four of the Premier League with a second win in five days when they host Brighton at Wembley on Wednesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's side ended a run of four league games without a victory in emphatic style with a 5-1 demolition of Stoke on Saturday - Harry Kane's two goals taking him to 50 in 2017 in all competitions - to leave them two points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.

Tottenham got back to winning ways in emphatic style at the weekend and will be confident of more of the same against Brighton on Wednesday.

Stoke City were thrashed for the fourth time on the trot as Spurs recorded their first Premier League win since November 5 and now welcome former player and coach Chris Hughton to Wembley.

Hughton won two FA Cups and the Uefa Cup during a 13-season spell as a player at White Hart Lane but visits his former club looking for a first win in six games as the Seagulls start to slide down the table.
