Man City vs Bournemouth: Premier League prediction, TV, live streaming

Pep Guardiola's side appear unstoppable right now and they can potentially move even further clear at the top of the table on Saturday

Manchester City can give themselves an early Christmas present with a win when they welcome Bournemouth to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Victory over the Cherries would see Pep Guardiola's side move 14 points clear of Manchester United - temporarily at least - and it would stretch their unbeaten run in the league to 19 games.

Manchester City host Bournemouth on Saturday as the Premier League leaders seek to extend their advantage at the top of the table.

City have lost just once across all competitions this term, a Champions League dead rubber against Shakhtar Donetsk, but were less convincing in their penalty shootout win at Leicester in midweek.

Nonetheless, Pep Guardiola's side are 11 points clear of second-placed Manchester United in their final League game before Christmas, and host a Bournemouth side low on confidence and points.

The match will not be televised live in the UK. You can follow all the build-up and action from 2pm with New Gersy’s live blog.

Team news
Man City still have a defensive headache with Eliaquim Mangala (head) a doubt.

Vincent Kompany is expected to miss out again, while John Stones remains out with a hamstring problem. Benjamin Mendy (ACL) remains a long-term absentee.

Jermain Defoe and Harry Arter joined Bournemouth's growing injury list during Wednesday's 2-1 EFL Cup defeat at Chelsea.

England international Defoe was forced off with an ankle injury following a mistimed tackle from Ethan Ampadu early on, while Arter was substituted in the second half with a calf problem.

The duo join several players, including Joshua King, Charlie Daniels and Tyrone Mings on the sidelines.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, are in desperate need of a win as they slip towards a relegation battle, but it must be said that Eddie Howe's men have had a difficult run of games in recent weeks.

Predicted line up
Man City starting XI: Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Delph, De Bruyne, Toure, Gundogan, sterling, Aguero, Sane

Bournemouth starting XI: Begovic, Smith, Francis, Ake, S Cook, L Cook, Ibe, Surman, Pugh, Stanislas, Afobe
