Liverpool vs West Brom: Premier League

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has returned to full training but he will not be in contention to face West Brom.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is set to make changes again, however, with Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino due to start having been rested at the weekend.

So far Klopp made 59 changes to his starting 11 this season; only Manchester United in 2002 have made more in Premier League history at this stage of the campaign.

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that Liverpool can take out their Merseyside derby frustrations against West Brom on Wednesday night.

Klopp lost his temper with an interviewer following Liverpool's 1-1 draw against Everton at Anfield on Sunday, with the coach furious over the Toffees' controversial penalty call.

The Liverpool boss must put the derby frustrations out of his mind and now focus on the visit of West Brom as the Baggies head to Anfield.

Alan Pardew has been drafted in after a worrying slide under Tony Pulis, but a 1-0 defeat at low-scoring Swansea on Saturday will not fill the travelling fans with any sense of confidence against one of the League's top attacks.

Read on for New Gersy's comprehensive preview...

Start time
Liverpool host West Brom at Anfield with kick-off scheduled for 8pm on Wednesday, December 13.

TV and live online coverage
The match will not be televised live in the UK.

Team news

Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho should be restored to the starting line-up after being left on the bench for the Merseyside derby.

Along with Lallana, defenders Joel Matip (muscle injury) and Alberto Moreno (ankle) will also miss the game with a number of other players carrying knocks from Sunday's Merseyside derby.

Craig Dawson could return for West Brom after missing the last seven games. The defender has been out with a knee problem but is back in training and may replace Allan Nyom after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Swansea.

Chris Brunt recovered from a thigh injury to feature in Wales but Gareth Barry (thigh), James Morrison (Achilles) and Nacer Chadli (hip) remain sidelined while Matt Phillips is a doubt with a hamstring problem.

Predicted line up
Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Mane, Wijnaldum, Can, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino

West Brom starting XI: Foster, Nyom, Hegazi, Evans, Gibbs, Livermore, Yacob, Field, Robson-Kanu, Rondon, Rodriguez
