Arsenal vs Liverpool: Premier League TV CHANNEL, STREAM, KICK-OFF TIMES

The Reds travel to north London in what will be the final game before Christmas for both clubs - but who will be in the top four going into next week?

Arsenal host Liverpool on Friday evening as both clubs look to lock down a top-four spot in the Premier League rankings.

Jurgen Klopp's side currently sit in fourth position on 34 points after 18 games, with the Gunners just a point behind them in fifth.

Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners at Anfield in the reverse fixture earlier in the season - can Arsene Wenger's side avoid another humiliation this time round?

Arsenal vs Liverpool: Premier League prediction, team news, line-ups and how to watch on TV and online

Arsenal and Liverpool go head to head in their last game before Christmas as the race for a Premier League top-four finish heats up.

With Manchester City leading the title race by 11 points, the rest of the top-flight's elite clubs face the prospect of an almighty scrap for the three remaining Champions League qualification spots.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool currently sit fourth - 18 points behind Pep Guardiola's City - though Arsene Wenger's Arsenal are just a point behind in fifth, with Burnley (sixth) and Tottenham (seventh) also both firmly in contention.

A fourth-placed finish will not be won or lost before Christmas, but Arsenal will want to avoid a similar result to the 4-0 humbling they received at Anfield in August if they are to stay on track.

Team News

Arsenal will be without Olivier Giroud for Friday night's Premier League visit of Liverpool.

The striker was forced off in Tuesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final win over West Ham with a hamstring injury and is likely to miss the majority of Arsenal's festive fixtures.

Francis Coquelin also hobbled out of that game but could still be in contention but Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) is missing, as is long-term absentee Santi Cazorla (ankle). Wenger should be able to call on defender Shkodran Mustafi following a thigh injury.

Provisional squad: Cech, Ospina, Mertesacker, Holding, Mustafi, Koscielny, Chambers, Monreal, Debuchy, Bellerin, Nelson, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin, Wilshere, Xhaka, Elneny, Ozil, Iwobi, Sanchez, Welbeck, Walcott, Lacazette.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge (hamstring and illness) and defender Joel Matip (adductor) remain doubtful ahead of Friday's Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Alberto Moreno is still sidelined by his ankle problem, but Emre Can is available again after sitting out last weekend's 4-0 win at Bournemouth as he served a suspension.

Adam Lallana is set to be involved again after coming off the bench at the Vitality Stadium for his second appearance of the season.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Robertson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino, Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Milner, Can, Lallana, Mane, Solanke, Ings.

How they could line up
Arsenal predicted XI: Cech; Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Bellerin, Xhaka, Wilshere, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette

Liverpool predicted XI: Mignolet; Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Milner; Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Coutinho, Mane
