Manchester United v Brighton: Premier League

Manchester United will again be without defenders Eric Bailly and Phil Jones when they host Brighton on Saturday.

Manchester United's pursuit of Premier League leaders Man City continues on Saturday as Brighton travel to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho's Red Devils survived an early scare to eventually dismantle Newcastle 4-1 last Saturday, leaving United second in the table after a strong start to the season.

The trouble for Mourinho is that Pep Guardiola's City are in stunning form having dropped just two points from the opening 12 games, and sit eight points clear of their city rivals.

United cannot afford to lose any more ground if they are to offer a realistic title challenge to City, and need a result after a disappointing Champions League defeat against Basel in midweek.

Start time

Manchester United host Broghton at Old Trafford with kick-off scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, November 25.

TV and live online coverage

The match will not be televised live in the UK.

Team news

Manchester United
Mourinho will likely revert to his preferred XI after a number of squad players failed to take their chance to impress against Basel.

Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia should return on the flanks, while Mourinho may stick with the same front four - Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku - who staged the comeback against Newcastle.

United may have problems at centre-back though, with Phil Jones still out and Eric Bailly a major doubt.

Brighton report no fresh injuries following Monday's draw with Stoke.

Beram Kayal will travel with the squad after recovering from a broken leg but he is unlikely to play.

Predicted line-ups

Man United starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Young; Matic, Pogba; Martial, Mata, Rashford; Lukaku

Brighton starting XI: Ryan; Bruno, Hunemeier, Dunk, Suttner; Knockhaert, Stephens, Dropper, March; Gross, Murray
