Arsenal vs Brighton: Premier League prediction, team news, line-ups, start time, live, TV

Just 62 hours after the full-time whistle in Belarus and Arsenal will be back in action as they welcome Brighton to the Emirates Stadium.

A Sunday midday kick-off and three games in the space of six days has already had Arsene Wenger bemoaning a “cruel” fixture list and Arsenal would hardly be the first side to suffer a post-Europa League hangover.

Still Arsenal were able to rest a host of first-teamers for the 4-2 win over BATE Borisov and Wenger will likely have the option of fielding his fearsome front three of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette for the first time.

Such quality may be required to break down a Brighton defence that have conceded fewer goals than the Gunners this season, though whether the visiting Seagulls have the attacking quality to create problems at the other end remains up for debate.

Start time

Arsenal host Brighton at Emirates Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 12pm on Sunday, October 1.

TV and live online coverage

The match will be televised live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting from 11.30pm. Alternatively, you can follow all the build-up and action from 11am with NEW GERSY blog.

Team news

Arsenal are expected to revert to a full-strength team for Sunday's visit of Brighton in the Premier League.

Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac, Hector Bellerin, Petr Cech and Nacho Monreal were all rested for Thursday's Europa League fixture at BATE Borisov.

They are all likely to be recalled, particularly with Calum Chambers, Alex Iwobi, Danny Welbeck, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla all still absent through injury.

Brighton will be without Tomer Hemed, who starts a three-match ban, when they head to Arsenal on Sunday.

Sam Baldock is still missing with a calf problem but Glenn Murray has an outside chance of being involved after an ankle injury.

Steve Sidwell is recovering from back surgery and Beram Kayal is a long-term absentee having broken his leg.

Predicted line-ups

Arsenal starting XI: Cech; Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez; Lacazette

Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton starting XI: Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Suttner; Knockaert, Stephens, Propper, March; Gross; Brown
