Arsenal vs Manchester United: Premier League prediction, team news, line-ups and how to watch on TV and online

Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho resume their long-running rivalry as Arsenal host Premier League rivals Manchester United on Saturday.

Arsenal secured a comfortable 5-0 victory over Huddersfield on Wednesday night result, and head into the Emirates Stadium clash full of confidence as they sit fourth in the table.

United survived a late scare to beat Watford 4-2 at Vicarage Road on Tuesday to cement second place, though Mourinho's men almost threw away the win after coasting into a three-goal lead against the Hornets.

Mourinho will be hoping for a similar level of ruthlessness against a resolute Arsenal defence, but United cannot afford to be so sloppy at the back with the Gunners in determined form.

Start time

Arsenal host Manchester United at Emirates Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 5:30pm on Saturday, December 2.

TV and live online coverage

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4K UHD, with coverage from 5pm. BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the BT Sport app.

Team News

Arsenal
Arsenal will be without club-record signing Alexandre Lacazette for the visit of Manchester United.

The France international was forced off at half-time in Wednesday's 5-0 victory over Huddersfield due to a groin injury and manager Arsene Wenger has ruled him out of the game against the Red Devils.

A hamstring problem also saw Alexis Sanchez substituted in the Huddersfield win but Wenger is more optimistic over his availability while Alex Iwobi (leg) could also be back in contention. Santi Cazorla (Achilles) is a long-term absentee.

Provisional squad: Cech, Ospina, Mertesacker, Holding, Koscielny, Mustafi, Chambers, Monreal, Debuchy, Bellerin, Nelson, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Ramsey, Wilshere, Xhaka, Elneny, Ozil, Iwobi, Walcott, Sanchez, Welbeck, Giroud.

Manchester United
Manchester United will be without Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini, while Nemanja Matic is a doubt.

Injury has sidelined defensive pair Jones (thigh) and Bailly for the last four matches, and Fellaini for the last one, Tuesday's 4-2 win at Watford.

Fellow midfielder Matic is being assessed having come off in the second half at Vicarage Road with what boss Jose Mourinho has described as a muscular issue. Skipper Michael Carrick has been building his fitness after having a cardiac ablation to deal with an irregular heart rhythm.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, Lindelof, Rojo, Smalling, Valencia, Young, Darmian, Blind, Shaw, Tuanzebe, Pogba, Matic, Herrera, McTominay, Mata, Lingard, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Rashford, Lukaku, Ibrahimovic.

Predicted line-ups

Arsenal starting XI: Cech; Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez, Welbeck

Man United starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, Young; Herrera, Mata, Pogba; Martial, Lukaku, Lingard
