Team News:

After the disaster of qualification, a raft of new talent is set to get their chance to impress for the USA.

Players like Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and Josh Sargent are all on the cusp of a start, whilst Tim Weah showed in the U17 World Cup that there are gems coming through.

Huddersfield's Danny Williams could feature as the side search for a replacement for the ageing Michael Bradley.

Portugal has called up a number of young players, with Goncalo Guedes in excellent form at Valencia.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of several established stars who will not feature during this last international break of the year and Eder has dropped out due to an injury.

The U.S. has left out any players still active in the MLS playoffs as well as a number of other international regulars — including star Christian Pulisic.

Teenagers Cameron Carter-Vickers, Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and Josh Sargent will be hoping to make their senior debuts.
