new gersy/ West Ham vs Liverpool: Premier League

A third consecutive win in all competitions will be Liverpool's target when they travel to West Ham on Saturday ahead of another international break.

The Reds struggled after September's FIFA interval, but have suffered just one defeat in the five games since the last recess.

Slaven Bilic is in need of another big result as Premier League strugglers West Ham host Liverpool on Saturday.

Bilic was given two games to save his job after a dismal 3-0 defeat to Brighton, and made the best start possible with a shock 3-2 EFL Cup comeback against Tottenham at Wembley.

West Ham were within seconds of claiming a vital League win at Crystal Palace, but a moment of madness from Michail Antonio saw the Hammers lose possession and concede a 96th-minute equaliser against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace.

The Hammers remain 16th in the table as a result - one point off the drop zone - and host a Liverpool side who waltzed to a 4-0 victory the last time they visited London Stadium.

Start time

West Ham host Liverpool at the London Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm on Saturday, November 4.

TV and live online coverage

The match will be televised live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting from 7.15pm. BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Alternatively, you can follow all the build-up and action from 4.30pm with NEW GERSY blog.

Team news

Liverpool
Michail Antonio, who has endured a stop/start season so far after recovering from a summer operation to repair a torn hamstring, has suffered a recurrence of a rib injury sustained during West Ham’s 3-0 home defeat by Brighton.

Right-back Pablo Zabaleta is suspended after picking up his fifth booking, while both central defender Jose Fonte and left back Aaron Cresswell were injured at Selhurst Park.

Georginio Wijnaldum is a doubt for Liverpool, with the midfielder requiring a scan on an ankle injury.

West Ham
The Hammers have lost five points from winning positions, allowing Southampton, Burnley and Crystal Palace to score late goals against them.

Liverpool will look to expose their defensive issues, especially with Zabaleta suspended, while both Jose Fonte and Aaron Cresswell were injured at Selhurst Park.

The latter has the better chance of featuring, but James Collins - who has announced his retirement from international football with Wales - is not yet ready to return from an ankle issue.

Winston Reid could be available after shaking off a calf strain, while Michail Antonio is ruled out after suffering a recurrence of a rib injury.

Predicted line-ups

West Ham starting XI: Hart, Fonte, Kouyate, Ogbonna, Reid, Fernandes, Lanzini, Noble, Cresswell, Ayew, Hernandez

Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno, Milner, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Firmino, Salah
