Tottenham face another stern test of their title credentials against Manchester United on Saturday but will have to do it without Premier League top scorer Harry Kane.

Kane inspired Spurs to a thrashing of Liverpool last weekend but suffered a "slight" hamstring strain in the process, with Mauricio Pochettino describing his chances of facing United as "impossible".

Pochettino must now rethink his strategy, but will be impressed with his squad's flexibility in recent weeks as they prepare to face defensive-minded Jose Mourinho side after being stunned by West Ham in the EFL Cup.

The teams head into the Old Trafford game level on points, though United boast a superior goal difference, with a draw potentially seeing pace-setters Manchester City move seven points clear at the top.

United won the same fixture last season but can Spurs maintain their winning streak to record only a third ever Premier League win at the famous ground?
