Manchester City are looking to keep hold of top spot in the Premier League table as they host Burnley on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's side sit two points clear of rivals Manchester United after eight games, and have won 10 games in a row across all competitions - including wins over Liverpool, Chelsea and Napoli.

City have thrashed Liverpool (5-0), Stoke (7-2), Watford (6-0) and Crystal Palace (5-0) in their last four League games, but Burnley can offer Guardiola's men a real test.

The Clarets had an awful away record last season with just one win on the road, but have already beaten Chelsea and collected valuable draws at Tottenham and Liverpool to mark themselves out as tough visitors for any title contenders this term.

Start time

Man City host Burnley at Etihad Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, October 21.

TV and live online coverage

The match will not be televised live in the UK.

Team news

Man. city
Guardiola will likely make changes from the side that beat Napoli 2-1 in midweek, but City's only injury concerns are Vincent Kompany (calf) and long-term absentee Benjamin Mendy (knee).

Burnley boss Dyche is expected to choose from an unchanged squad against City.

Dyche has no new injury or suspension worries following last week's home draw against West Ham and could name the same starting line-up.

Strikers Jonathan Walters (knee) and Nahki Wells (foot), plus midfielder Dean Marney (knee) are all edging closer to full fitness, but remain sidelined.

Provisional squad: Pope, Lindegaard, Lowton, Long, Mee, Taylor, Ward, Tarkowski, Bardsley, Defour, Brady, Ulvestad, Hendrick, Cork, Westwood, Arfield, Gudmundsson, Vokes, Barnes, Wood.

Predicted line-ups

Man City starting XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Delph, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Silva, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero

Burnley starting XI: Pepe, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward, Brady, Cork, Defour, Arfield, Hendrick, Wood
