Watford v Liverpool Game Time, TV Channel

Liverpool and Watford kick off the Premier League season at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Liverpool suits up without Adam Lallana and potentially without Philippe Coutinho, who is rumored to be on his way to Barcelona sooner than later. The Reds will need to compensate with a strong showing against host Watford, who will likely see Brazilian forward Richarlison make his Premier League debut at age 20.

Team News
Philippe Coutinho is set to miss the game with a back injury, while the midfielder continues to push for a move to Barcelona.

Adam Lallana is a long-term casualty, with the 29-year-old expected to be out for a minimum of two months with a thigh problem.

Another of last season’s regulars, Nathaniel Clyne, is also out, paving the way for Trent Alexander-Arnold to step in and make just his third Premier League start.

Daniel Sturridge misses out, too, with the striker nursing a thigh complaint.

In terms of team selection, Klopp has to decide between Alberto Moreno, Andrew Robertson and James Milner at left-back, with the former’s impressive summer arguably making him favourite to start.

With no Lallana or Coutinho, it seems likely that Jordan Henderson, Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum will all be selected, although don’t completely rule out a surprise start for the ever-impressive 17-year-old Ben Woodburn.

Mohamed Salah will make his official Liverpool debut, with the Egyptian on the right-hand side of a devilish-looking front three, alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Watford captain Troy Deeney is expected to be fit for the game, and Silva will be boosted that he has no other major injury concerns other than Mauro Zarate, who has been missing since February.
